This is an image from my original watercolor painting of Quiet Waters in Paradise. There is a little boat floating close to the shore and part of a palm tree showing with other trees in the background. The beautiful waters are calm and quiet.
About Laurie Anderson
Art is my passion! Watercolor and pencil are my medium of choice, although sometimes I do "finishing touches" in ink or colored pencil. Mill Creek Park of Youngstown, is a popular subject of mine. Also, I have done a series of covered bridges from Ashtabula County, Ohio. Whimsical creations, as well as flowers and landscapes are always a favorite. My latest creations are painting with alcohol inks. They are fun and the colors are bright and vivid. I love what I do and hope that my art is both encouraging and inspirational. Portraits are my specialty. I can create house & pet portraits in watercolor or pencil. People portraits only in pencil.
